Mini-gallery “Don’t Cry” – a project started in 2014.
The model of a random white-cube gallery corner is a symbol of a traditional exhibition space. The concept of the project is to make momentary exhibitions in various places (nature, city, etc.). The metaphor of the white-cube helps to highlight being in it and out of it at the same time.
The title chosen for the mini-gallery – “Don’t Cry” – creates a shy and slightly aggressive mood for a whole idea. Depending on a momentary place/space, for example – by the river, in the corner – the title creates a scene of encouragement, like Don’t Cry By The River or Don’t Cry In The Corner.
The project goes on and continues with new ideas. Don’t cry if you don’t fit in a normal gallery space, maybe you have some stunning images ant want to make an exhibition in a tree or where ever…
